UPS and FedEx deliver packages directly to homes, weather permitting. Amazon packages may be delivered to homes or PO Boxes, depending on the delivery service method used.

Resort Shuttle Service

Kirkwood Mountain Resort operates a complimentary shuttle service through the Kirkwood Base Area that will pickup homeowners and their guests and take them to Timber Creek and the Village during the winter season. To schedule a free pickup from your home, send a text message to (209) 791-7170 with your street address. Response times can vary depending on traffic/road conditions but are usually within 5-10 minutes. Residents wishing to return to their home in West Meadows may pick up the shuttle across the street from Timber Creek or in front of Cornice Pizza Shuttle Stop-West Bound. Tell your shuttle driver you wish to return to West Meadows and indicate the street you live on.

KMPUD offers a seasonal playground on the east side of the valley for families with toddlers and young children. The playground includes swings, slides, a small climbing wall, and other equipment to ride and climb on. The playground is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day (weather permitting). The playground is located on East Meadows Drive near the tennis courts. See map.

Snow Removal Cooperation

We need your help to keep the pads clear of snow. Be sure pads are always clear of any materials or objects other than cars at all times so plows can clear them safely when it does now. If the spot your car is occupying hasn’t been plowed, please move your car immediately so the plows can clear the pad. If you see the plow coming, moving your vehicle temporarily will greatly speed up the process for everyone. Please remember that the KMPUD is partnered exclusively with the KMA Board; residents, tenants, and guests must NOT contact the KMPUD directly with snow removal feedback, as this can result in financial penalties for the Association.  Have an issue? Fill out this form.

Tips for Keeping Paths Clear

Maintaining a walk-in path to your property throughout the winter is challenging. Because individual paths are harder for plow operators to identify than marked driveways, effective communication and preparation are key. To help ensure your path remains accessible:

  1. Install Stakes: Place multiple, visible stakes at the entrance and corners of your path as early in the season as possible. This clearly marks the boundary for plow crews.
  2. Hire Help for Big Storms: For large mid-week dumps or heavy blowing snow, be prepared to hire a contractor to reopen your path as needed.

If path-clearing issues persist after you have clearly staked, please use the snow removal feedback form to lodge a complaint.

Parking and Permit Policy

Each lot is limited to two parking spots in a parking pad. No parking is allowed on the street outside these designated pads. If you have extra vehicles and cannot find a spot, please use KMA’s designated overflow easement on the east side of Kirkwood Meadow Drive (between Hawkweed and Wintergreen). All KMA associated vehicles parked on Kirkwood Meadow Drive should clearly display a parking permit (note: including your phone number on the pass is optional). Ensure your pass is visible to Vail’s parking enforcement by placing it at the end of your vehicle facing the roadway.

Enforcement and Safety Reporting

If you receive a parking ticket despite following these KMA rules, do not pay it. Instead, report the incident immediately to the KMA Board via this form. For urgent parking or snow concerns that pose an immediate safety risk (but are not life-threatening), please text KMA board members Greg Eden (617-335-3353) and Larry Parker (805-441-5526) in addition to submitting the online form.
